As Vice President of the Construction Safety Division, Dione leads Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) safety and risk management initiatives across complex construction projects, driving strong safety performance and regulatory compliance.
Mr. Whisenant brings over a decade of construction safety experience, supported by nearly 25 years of service in the United States Marine Corps. He has held senior roles including OCIP Site Safety Manager and Regional Safety Training and Inspection Manager and later founded his own safety consulting firm. His leadership has supported safety efforts on high-profile projects such as high-rise developments, hospitals, airports, universities, FasTrak infrastructure, and stadiums.
He holds a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health and is an OSHA Outreach Instructor for the Construction Industry. His credentials include Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP), and EM 385-1-1 certification.
